In Total Crackdown, "equipment" encompasses the parts of the loadout that aren't Weapons, Skills, or Perk Decks.

Deployables

Many Deployables have gained new interactions or effects as part of the Skill Tree Rework, but some have received new base functionalities. Two deployables, the Friendship Collar and Armor Plates, are new to Total Crackdown and replace equipment from the base game.

Armor

All armors have received stat adjustments to account for the removal of defensive Skills:

  • The Two-Piece Suit's Dodge increased to +15.
  • The Lightweight Ballistic Vest's Concealment was increased to 28 and Dodge increased to +5.
  • The Ballistic Vest's Concealment was increased to 26 and Dodge penalty removed.
  • The Heavy Ballistic Vest's Armor was increased to 80, Concealment to 24, and Dodge penalty reduced to -5.
  • The Flak Jacket's Armor was increased to 100, Concealment to 22, Speed to 32, Steadiness to 18, but Dodge penalty increased to -30. Maybe someone will actually use it now!
  • The Combined Tactical Vest's Armor was increased to 140, Speed to 31, Steadiness to 21, but Concealment reduced to 10 and Dodge penalty increased to -50.
  • The Improved Combined Tactical Vest was made available without investment, Armor increased to 200, Steadiness increased to 25, but Dodge penalty increased to -100.


Deck Devices

Since Total Crackdown does not have a Jack Of All Trades equivalent, its hotkey has been repurposed to support the signature items of certain Perk Decks without requiring them to be equipped in the Throwable slot. The affected Perk Decks are:

  • Kingpin
  • Sicario
  • Stoic
  • Tag Team
  • Hacker
  • Leech
