The Taskmaster skill tree is a set of Total Crackdown player skills that lets your hostages help out. Teams with a Taskmaster on hand gain a variety of passive benefits from keeping these bargaining chips alive and tied down.

Taskmaster Skills
Lookout Duty

Lookout Duty Skill Icon

Basic: Your team's Hostages will automatically Mark any Special Enemies within 10 meters.

Aced: Your team's Hostages will also automatically Mark any Standard Enemies within 10 meters and cause all enemies within range to take +10% damage from all sources.

Stay Down

Stay Down Skill Icon

Basic: Your team's Hostages grant +25% Damage Resistance to teammates within 5 meters.

Aced: Each of your team's Hostages will fake surrendering once upon being traded for a teammate, releasing the teammate from custody without turning themselves in.

Note: Stay Down Aced will force the "faked" Hostage to be chosen again for the next trade.

Pack Mules

Pack Mules Skill Icon

Basic: Your team's Civilian Hostages can carry lootbags.

Aced: Your team's Civilian Hostages move +50% faster.

Note: Hostages are slowed by lootbag contents in the same way that as heisters.

Pied Piper

Pied Piper Skill Icon

Basic: You can have up to two Hostages following you at once.

Aced: You can have up to three Hostages following you at once.

Zip It

Zip It Skill Icon

Basic: Increases your supply of Cable Ties to 20. Civilians will not immediately flee upon being untied.

Aced: Civilians are intimidated by the noise you make. Shouting intimidates all Civilians within 10 meters of the target.

False Idol

False Idol Skill Icon

Basic: Your team's civilian Hostages are invulnerable while prone. Additionally, you gain the ability to restore a lost Down by striking a prone civilian Hostage with a Melee Attack to release them early.

Aced: Your team's Hostages release all teammates in custody when traded.

Note: Players can only trigger False Idol Basic if they have fewer than the maximum incaps available to them.
